About Amy Dix

Amy Dix, MPAS,PA-C, MSCS, is a physician assistant with specialized expertise and experience in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and headaches. She sees patients at College Park Family Care Center’s Specialty Office location in Overland Park, Kan. Amy is a part of “Can Do MS” Team, a National MS Non-profit, as a Physician Assistant in MS and offers her diverse talent scope of gait rehab, nutrition, and yoga. Amy and her neurology team established the Kansas MS Center, and continue to collaborate with the members of her multi-specialty care team at College Park Specialty Center and Greater KC Metro area to provide an Infusion Center, Baclofen Pump Team, Bioness/Gait Evaluation, Botox, Research, MS Physical Therapy, and MS Wellness Support Group. Amy currently is the President and founder of Association of Neurology PAs, a formally recognized as constituent organization within the American Academy of Physician Assistants. ANPA is creating opportunities for current PAs in Neurology to network and help provide education for newer PAs in the field of Neurology. A Physician Assistant since 2004, Amy began her career in asthma, allergy and immunology before moving into neurology in 2006. She obtained her MS Clinical Specialty (MSCS) certification in 2011. She has a Plant Based Nutrition Certification from Cornell with the Dr. Colin Campbell Foundation and multiple other certifications that have helped her achieve a neurologic practice in which she is able to holistically prescribe a plan for a patient and their family. Amy's after-hours passion is Yoga and fitness. With the partnership of Liz Franklin and MS Heartland Borderwalk, she established “Sit Down and Feel Better: A program of chair yoga for people living with MS created by Liz Franklin.” Amy is passionate about education and continues to attend conferences to better assist her patients and clinical practice.
